Effective from 14 September 2026. The operator of the www.kentici-sportovci.cz website, StellarEdge s.r.o., Company ID: 21012831, registered office at Na Folimance 2155/15, 120 00 Prague 2 – Vinohrady (hereinafter the "controller"), hereby informs clients of the manner and extent of the processing of their personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).

This is a courtesy translation. The binding version of this policy is the Czech one – in case of any discrepancy, the Czech version prevails.

1. Controller of personal data

  • Controller: StellarEdge s.r.o., Company ID: 21012831
  • Registered office: Na Folimance 2155/15, 120 00 Prague 2 – Vinohrady
  • Contact details: e-mail stellaredge@stellaredge.life, tel. +420 777 260 399

2. Extent and purpose of the processing of personal data

The controller processes the following personal data of clients: name and surname, home address (where an invoice is issued), e-mail address, telephone number and, where applicable, the child's name and age for the purpose of registering for services (e.g. childcare, children's events).

The data is processed for the purpose of:

  • registration and booking of services (childcare, the playroom, birthday parties, camps and similar),
  • performing the contractual relationship and statutory obligations (including accounting),
  • necessary communication with the client,
  • informing clients of changes to or cancellation of a service provided,
  • sending news where the client has expressly consented to this.

3. Legal basis for processing

  • performance of the contract between the client and the controller (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR),
  • compliance with legal obligations, e.g. accounting obligations (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR),
  • the legitimate interest of the controller in communicating with customers and ensuring the safety of children (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR),
  • the client's consent, e.g. for marketing purposes (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).

4. Retention period

Personal data is retained only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out above:

  • enquiries and applications from the website forms – 12 months from receipt, then deleted automatically;
  • data relating to a contractual relationship – for its duration and 3 years thereafter;
  • data on accounting documents – 10 years (under the Accounting Act).

5. Recipients of personal data

Personal data may be passed on only to processors who provide services necessary for operating the website or keeping the accounts:

  • the server hosting provider – the website and the enquiry database run on a server in the European Union;
  • the accounting firm – administers tax documents and payroll;
  • Google Ireland Ltd. – solely for the map embedded on the Contact page, see article 8.

The website does not use Google Analytics or any other traffic measurement tool, advertising system or social network tracking code. Enquiries from the forms are stored in our own database on our own server and are not passed to any third party.

6. Rights of the data subject (the client)

Every client has the right to:

  • request access to their personal data,
  • request the correction or erasure of their data,
  • object to processing,
  • request the restriction of processing,
  • withdraw their consent to processing at any time (this does not apply to processing required by law),
  • lodge a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection (www.uoou.cz) if they believe their right to the protection of personal data has been breached.

A withdrawal of consent or any other request can be sent to: kentici@stellaredge.life.

7. Cookies and data stored in your browser

The website uses no analytics or advertising cookies and does not track visitor behaviour. It stores only the following necessary items:

  • language choice – saved to your browser’s local storage (the kentici-jazyk item) only when you switch between Czech and English yourself. It stays on your device and is never sent anywhere. Clearing your browser data removes it;
  • the administration login cookie – created only for staff after signing in to the non-public part of the website, valid for at most 8 hours.

These items are necessary for the service you requested and therefore do not require consent. Fonts are served from our own server, not from third parties.

8. The map on the Contact page

The Contact page contains a map provided by Google Ireland Ltd. Loading it sends your IP address and basic information about your browser and device to Google, and Google may store its own cookies in that context. Such processing is then governed by Google’s privacy policy. Google may also transfer the data outside the European Union on the basis of standard contractual clauses. If you would rather avoid this, you can use the „Open in Maps“ link at your own discretion, or look the address up separately.

9. Security of personal data

The controller has adopted technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against loss, misuse, unauthorised access or disclosure. Security measures include access passwords for computers, antivirus protection, encryption of e-mail communication and regular software updates.

10. Final provisions

By sending a booking or registering on the website, the client confirms that they have read this privacy policy and agree to it. The controller reserves the right to change this policy at any time – the new wording will always be published on the website. This policy takes effect on 14 September 2026.
