Article 1 – The mission of the children's group

The Kentíci – sportovci® children's group provides regular care for children from 6 months to 3 years of age in a safe, stimulating and respectful environment. Our aim is to support a child's healthy physical, mental, social and emotional development, with an emphasis on: an individual approach, movement as a natural part of every day, time outdoors, developing independence, a positive relationship with sport, cooperation with the family and respect for every child's individuality.

Article 2 – Aims of our care

The aim of the children's group is to create a safe and stimulating environment, to develop natural physical activity, to support a healthy lifestyle, to develop speech, communication and social skills, to prepare children for entering preschool and to support children with specific educational needs according to their individual abilities.

Article 3 – Age range and capacity

The children's group is intended for children from 6 months to 3 years of age. The capacity of the facility is 12 children.

Article 4 – Opening hours

Monday to Friday, 7:00–19:00. By prior arrangement the provider may also offer extended care.

Article 5 – Admission of children

A child is admitted on the basis of a submitted application, a concluded contract, the submission of the required documents and compliance with statutory conditions. Before a child starts, a settling-in meeting takes place with their legal guardians.

Article 6 – Settling in

Settling in proceeds individually according to the child's needs. During the first days the length of attendance may be shortened and, by arrangement, a parent may be present.

Article 7 – Daily routine

Approximate daily routine: 7:00–8:30 arrival, free play · 8:30 snack · 9:00–11:00 guided activities, physical activities, time outdoors · 11:30 lunch · 12:00–14:00 rest · 14:30 snack · 15:00–19:00 free play, individual activities, departure. The daily routine is adapted to the age and needs of the children.

Article 8 – Physical activities

Movement is a natural part of every day. Children take part in appropriate physical activities matching their age and state of health. Depending on age these may include movement games, exercise, time on the playground, walks, exercises on balance equipment, getting used to water and other activities that support healthy development.

Article 9 – Time outdoors

Weather permitting, children spend time outdoors every day. Time outdoors may be limited only in extreme weather conditions or during a smog situation.

Article 10 – Meals

Children are provided with a mid-morning snack, lunch, an afternoon snack and drinks throughout the day. Dietary restrictions can be accommodated by prior arrangement and on submission of a doctor's recommendation.

Article 11 – The child's state of health

Only children with no signs of infectious illness may attend the children's group. If symptoms of illness appear, legal guardians will be contacted immediately. The provider does not routinely administer medicines to children unless a written agreement has been concluded in an individual case and the relevant conditions are met.

Article 12 – Safety

Carers are responsible for the safety of children for the period during which the child is in their care. All staff are regularly trained in occupational health and safety, fire protection and first aid.

Article 13 – Rights and obligations of parents

Legal guardians have the right to be informed about the care provided to their child and to take part in cooperation with the carers. They are obliged in particular to provide truthful information about the child's state of health, to excuse the child's absence, to comply with these rules and to pay the agreed charges for the service provided.

Article 14 – Personal data protection

Spolek Kentíků, z. s. processes personal data in accordance with applicable law, in particular the GDPR.

Article 15 – Final provisions

These rules take effect on 1 September 2026. All legal guardians are informed of these rules when their child starts.

2. The mission of the preschool

The Kentíci – sportovci® bilingual sports preschool provides preschool-age children with a safe, stimulating and friendly environment focused on developing physical skills, acquiring a foreign language naturally, developing independence, preparing for primary school, building healthy self-confidence and supporting a healthy lifestyle.

3. Age range

The preschool is intended for children from 3 to 6 years of age as a rule. By individual arrangement a younger or older child may also be admitted.

4. Opening hours

Monday–Friday 7:00–19:00. Arrival: 7:00–9:00. Departure: after lunch 12:00–12:30, in the afternoon 15:00–19:00.

5. Programme

The programme may include: English through play, sports training, swimming, tennis, gymnastics basics, hiking, cycling and balance bikes, art activities, music activities, environmental education and school readiness.

6. Meals

The preschool provides a mid-morning snack, lunch, an afternoon snack and drinks throughout the day. Dietary restrictions must be notified in writing.

7. Illness

A child with a fever, diarrhoea, vomiting, an infectious illness or head lice must not be admitted to the group. The operator may refuse to take over a child showing signs of illness.

8. Safety

A member of the preschool staff takes the child over from their legal guardian. A child may only be handed over to the people listed on the registration form.

9. Payment of fees

Fees are paid in advance according to the chosen programme. Non-payment of fees for more than 30 days may be grounds for terminating the contract.

10. Personal data protection

Personal data is processed in accordance with applicable legislation.

• The playroom is intended for children up to 8 years of age and their adult companion.
• Entry to the playroom is charged. Admission for one child and one adult is CZK 90/hour. Members of the Kentíci Klubík may use their unspent regular childcare hours for entry to the playroom.
• The playroom is an unsupervised service only. All children must be accompanied by a responsible adult who is fully responsible for them throughout their visit. An accompanying person means a person over 18 years of age.
• Entry to the playroom is possible only in indoor shoes or socks (socks can be bought at reception).
• There is a designated area for eating and drinking. In the carpeted playroom, drinks, food, sweets and chewing gum are prohibited.
• Taking play equipment and toys out of the playroom is prohibited.
• Visitors are responsible for any damage to toys, play equipment or playroom fittings and undertake to pay for such damage if they cause it.
• To keep all children safe, no other items may be brought into the playroom.
• The operator is not liable for items left outside the designated places.
• The accompanying person is fully responsible for any injuries to children caused by their unsafe behaviour.
• Failure to comply with the playroom rules and aggressive behaviour by children entitle staff to ask a visitor to leave the playroom, with no right to a refund of the admission fee.
• If the capacity of the playroom is exceeded, staff are obliged to restrict entry for further visitors in the interest of children's safety. The maximum capacity is 12 children.
• For safety reasons the playroom is monitored by a camera system with recording.
• By entering the playroom, visitors agree to these playroom rules and undertake to comply with them and to follow the instructions of staff.
