Little stars from the Centaurus constellation
The Kentíci are little stars from the Centaurus constellation. They flew to us because they love movement, fun and adventure – just like children do. Every Kentík has a favourite sport: one skates, another plays basketball, another dances or runs in the mountains. And they all share one thing: the joy of moving and a team spirit.
The Kentíci are not just characters. They stand for our values – movement, joy, health and friendship.
Our philosophy
What does “sport” mean at Kentíci?
We are not after performance, results or competition. Sport here means all-round physical development – a strong body, a calm mind and healthy self-confidence.
All-round skills instead of specialisation
Running, jumping, climbing, crawling, throwing, catching and kicking. The goal is coordination, balance, agility and age-appropriate strength – a solid base for any sport that follows.
Movement as a basis for learning
We connect movement with speech, rhythm and music, and work on spatial orientation. Children who move well find it easier to concentrate, speak and learn.
Healthy physical development
Good posture, a strong deep stabilisation system and natural breathing. Preventing back pain and movement difficulties from an early age.
Moving together
Cooperation, respect for others and handling emotions during play. Children learn to work as a team, to lose and to celebrate – without pressure.
The Kentíci philosophy
A strong body – a calm mind – healthy self-confidence. Every child is differently fast, differently brave, differently able. We give them the time, space and support to grow at their own pace – and with joy.

How we teach languages
The language serves the child – not the other way round
Our bilingual class is not about drilling or teaching a foreign language on command. Our teachers speak to the children naturally in both Czech and English – during play, movement, getting dressed, meals and time outdoors. Children absorb the language without stress, just as they learn their mother tongue.
At the same time we place great emphasis on preventive speech therapy – we systematically support Czech, work with the rhythm of speech and link speech with movement. So that a child has firm foundations in Czech and takes English as a natural bonus.
